Atitia Cultural Center "Ma’a Tahiti" (Traditional Tahitian Feast) – This is a rare chance to experience a Tahitian feast in the beautiful setting of the UC Berkeley Atitia Center.  The feast will be prepared and presented by Te Pu Atitia, a local NGO that works on preserving traditional Polynesian culture.  There will be time before and after the feast to hear about the work of Te Pu Atitia and to meet some of the local elders that are the repositories of traditional knowledge for these islands.  Read more...

Village Forum Discussion – Tahiti Expeditions can organize a representative group of local inhabitants for a discussion of what it is like to live in these islands.  These discussions can cover a variety of topics and will usually take the form of a question and answer session.
