The islands of French Polynesia are surrounded by a marine wonderland, and feature some of the best sportfishing anywhere in the world. Not many people though have gone after fish here with a fly rod. Over ten years ago we started working with partners in the US to find out what the opportunities were here for flyfishermen. What we found was spectacular bonefishing in the atolls of the Tuamotu Archipelago and great fishing for other species as well in both the Tuamotu and Society Islands. Over the years we have worked with both international and local guides and settled on a few of the best accessible sites that offer great flyfishing for jacks, bonita, snapper, and bonefish.
